Kyanna Merritt, Trenton, waived her preliminary hearing and had her case bound over to the Circuit Division on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, a class D felony. Her case was certified to the Circuit Division on a charge of failing to display valid license plates properly. She is scheduled to appear in court March 15.
