Absentee ballots for the April 3 election are now available in the Grundy County Clerk’s Office.
The Grundy County ballot will feature elections for the Trenton City Council, Grundy R-5 School Board and the Grundy County Nursing Home District Board of Directors. All other entities do not require elections due to the number of candidates matching the number of vacancies to be filled. The Tri-County R-7 School District, which includes some voters in Grundy County, will also have a levy issue on the ballot as well.
Ballots can be cast from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, in the clerk’s office on the second floor of the courthouse. Ballots can be cast until Monday, April 2. The last day to request a ballot by mail is Wednesday, March 28.
