Families and Friends of the Developmentally Disabled held its first cooking class for 2018 at the First Baptist Church on Feb. 8. There are 20 individuals with disabilities attending the class. Participants learned to make breakfast pizza and how to prepare scrambled eggs. Coordinators Jeff and Kayla Smith, church volunteers and FFDD volunteers oversaw the participants, who learned about healthy and cost-efficient ways to reuse leftovers.
