The Green Hills Animal Shelter is sponsoring its annual “Take a Walk Through Chocolate Heaven” fundraising event on Tuesday, Feb. 13.
The event will be held at the First Christian Church Activity Center from 5 to 7 p.m. For $10, persons can sample various chocolate offerings made by local and area residents, including candies, desserts and even chocolate chili. Those attending will also be able to vote for their favorite offering, with prizes to be awarded to the top three items. Takeout boxes of items will also be available for another $10 cost. There will also be a silent auction of at least 30 themed-baskets as well as a 50/50 raffle.
