Carolyn Jeanette Frame, an 86-year-old resident of Bethany, died on Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2018 at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018 at the Roberson Funeral Home in Bethany. Burial will follow in Morris Chapel Cemetery in Bethany.
Family visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 2, 2018 at the funeral home, where general visitation begins at 2 p.m. on Friday.
Mrs. Frame was born on Aug. 13, 1931 in Harrison County, the daughter of Olin W. and Verda R. Blessing Estep.
She was married on July 29, 1950 to John Hamilton Frame, who preceded her in death on April 1, 1993.
She worked as an LPN for 30 years at Harrison County Community Hospital and was a farm wife. She was a member of the Mitchellville Methodist Church, served as a Mitchellville 4-H Club leader and an ombudsman to the local nursing home. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, planting trees and rock collecting.
She is survived by her children, Dave (Charlene) Frame, Betty (Gary) Holcomb and Darryl (Tammy) Frame; grandchildren, J.C., Christy, Dallas, Jason, Ty, Straussy, Josie, Travis and Cody; 18 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, June Shain and Marolyn (Paul) Harper.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Johnny Dean Frame; a grandson, Tyson; a sister, Mary Lou and two brothers, Billy Olen and Vodra Estep.
