Trenton High School has announced its “Students of the Quarter” for the second quarter.
Students can receive this honor only once during their high school career. Selection is based on citizenship, leadership, participation and academics.
Emily Kasinger is the senior honoree. She serves as treasurer for the FFA and vice president for the National Honor Society. In addition, she is a member of Key Club and student council. Outside of THS, she attends Rural Dale Baptist church, volunteers with the Children’s Miracle Network, attends the Ballet Arts Center for Dance, service son the Grundy County Council for Relay for Life and is employed by Hy-Vee and the Trenton Family Aquatic Center. She is the daughter of Kevin and Jerri Lynn Kasinger.
The junior recipient is Salem Croy. She is a member of the basketball, softball and track teams. She participates in Gold Rush and is a member of FCCLA, FBLA and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. She is the daughter of Wes and Jennifer Croy.
The sophomore recipient is Camyrn Willey. At THS, she participates in Gold Rush and colorguard. She is a member of FCCLA and FFA and attends the Hodge Presbyterian Church. She is the daughter of David and Mandy Willey.
Chase Otto is the freshman honoree. He plays on the basketball and baseball teams. He is a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and FFA. He attends the First Christian Church in Trenton and is the son of Tyson and Tiffany Otto.
