A 2018 graduate of Trenton High School is eligible to receive a $2,000 scholarship through the Shelter Insurance Foundation.
Local agent Cale Gondringer sponsors and partially funds the scholarship, with the winner to be announced during the Senior Awards Night ceremonies in May. A committee of local high school officials and community leaders will select the local recipient, using criteria of scholastic achievement, educational goals, citizenship, moral character and participation and leadership in school and community activities.
Applications are now available and more information can be obtained from the THS counseling office or by contacting Gondringer at his office in Trenton. The application deadline is March 31.
