12th District State Sen. Dan Hegeman, R-Cosby, was among two legislators honored by the Missouri Cattlemen’s Association during its 50th Annual Missouri Cattle Industry Convention and Trade Show.
Sen. Hegeman and State Rep. Sonya Anderson, R-Springfield, were recognized for their work on behalf of Missouri agriculture, in particular the cattle industry. Sen. Hegeman was described as “a fighter…As a farmer himself, he gets it.”
Rep. Anderson was honored for “knowing the importance of agriculture and understanding the impact legislative decisions can have on producers.”
