Darlynn K. Lewellen, a 60-year-old resident of Trenton, died on Sunday morning, Jan. 14, 2018 at Saint Luke’s on the Plaza in Kansas City.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018 at the Slater Funeral Home in Trenton with Rev. Steve Bramblett officiating. Private burial will be held later.
There is no scheduled family visitation.
Mrs. Lewellen was born on May 13, 1957 in Sedalia, the daughter of Floyd Marshall and Sheila K. Campbell McBride.
She was married on Nov. 2, 1978 to Sammy J. Lewellen Jr., who survives of the home.
She is also survived by one daughter, Sheila Hall and her husband, Dustin and three grandchildren, Cheyenne, Dallas and Austin Hall, all of Chillicothe; and her step-mother, Mary Louise McBride and step-sister, Angie Thomas and her husband, Don, all of Sedalia.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
