Funeral services for O. Leeila Kilburn will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018, at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens of Trenton. 
Mrs. Kilburn, a 90-year-old Trenton resident, died at 9:25 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018 at Sunnyview Nursing Home in Trenton.
Mrs. Kilburn was born on April 4, 1927 in Reger, the daughter of Victor and Doris Kelsall Alspach. She graduated from Trenton High School class of 1945.  She was married on Oct. 19, 1947 in Trenton to Alvin Kilburn, who preceded her in death on Nov. 18, 2004.
Mrs. Kilburn worked at the Grundy County Extension Office and Federal Land Bank and farmed with Alvin.  For many years she served as secretary/clerk for Fairview Baptist Church, where she was a member. Upon Fairview’s closing she moved her membership to the First Baptist Church in Trenton.
Surviving relatives include her daughters, Jeanie Gibson and her husband, Jim and Janice Belvel and her husband, Willis both of Trenton; grandchildren, Justin Watkins and his wife, Monica of Blue Springs, Carol Pauley and her husband, Tony of Melcher-Dallas, IA, Zach Belvel and his wife, Jen of Trenton, Sean Gibson and his wife, Haley of Walnut Creek, CA, Jennifer Woolsey and her husband, Dr. McClain Woolsey of Niceville, FL and Ciara Bauer and her husband, John of Tebbetts; six great-grandchildren, Jaycie and Tyler Watkins, Eli and Carson Joy Woolsey, Gabriella Gibson and Sawyer Bauer; and two step-great-grandchildren, Breanna and Kruz Uhlberg.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and an infant son, Chester Alvin; and a daughter, Joy Watkins.
Memorial donations are suggested to either the NCMC Barton Farm Campus or the Green Hills Women’s Shelter. They may be left at or mailed to the funeral home.
