Several churches in the community have announced a schedule of activities being planned during the next two weeks in celebration of the Christmas season.
The list includes:
Dockery Chapel United Methodist Church – Children’s Christmas Program on Wednesday, Dec. 20, 7 p.m., followed by a birthday party and cake for Jesus; Christmas Eve worship service at 9:30 a.m.; Christmas Eve service, communion and candlelighting at 9 p.m.
First Assembly of God – Christmas Cantata, “Oh Little Town of Bethlehem,” featuring the adult and children’s choirs on Sunday, Dec. 17, 10 a.m., to be preceded by breakfast in the activity center from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
First Baptist Church of Trenton – Adult Choir Christmas performance of “Sing Gloria” on Sunday, Dec. 17, 10:40 a.m.; Candlelight Christmas Eve Service, 5 p.m.
First Christian Church at Trenton – Children’s program and Christmas Cantata on Sunday, Dec. 17, 4 p.m., followed by a soup supper sponsored by the youth (funds toward church camp scholarships and Bright Futures Trenton); Christmas Eve service at 5 p.m.
Galt Christian Church – Children/Youth Christmas program on Sunday, Dec. 17, 10:50 a.m.; Christmas Eve Candlelight Service and Communion, 6 p.m.
Hodge Presbyterian Church – Vesper Service on Sunday, Dec. 17, 5 p.m.; Christmas Eve service with communion, 6 and 11 p.m.
Immanuel Lutheran Church – Children’s Christmas program on Sunday, Dec. 17, 5:30 p.m.; Christmas Eve candlelight service, 5 p.m.
Rural Dale Baptist Church – Christmas Cantata on Sunday, Dec. 24, 10 a.m.
Tenth Street Baptist Church – Children’s program during worship service on Sunday, Dec. 17; Christmas Eve candlelight service at 6 p.m.
Wesley United Methodist Church – Christmas Cantata and March to the Manager on Sunday, Dec. 17, 10:15 a.m.; Come and Go Community on Sunday, Dec. 24, 6 to 6:45 p.m., followed by candlelight service at 7 p.m.
