Jazmine M. McCallum, Trenton, waived formal arraignment and pleaded not guilty to unlawful use of a weapon and had her case continued to Dec. 26.
Valerie G. Johnson, Trenton, appeared in court owing $71.50 on a conviction for fourth degree assault and had that amount converted to seven days in the Grundy County Detention Center.
Rebecca S. Harrison, Trenton, pleaded guilty to failing to drive on the right half of the roadway when the roadway was of sufficient width and was fined $77.50 and $68.50 costs.
William E. Gott, Trenton, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of operating a vehicle with defective brakes and was fined $200 and $68.50 costs. He also pleaded guilty to displaying/possessing motor vehicle or trailer plates of another person and was fined $77.50 and $68.50 costs.
Glenn N. Williams, Trenton, pleaded guilty to second degree sexual misconduct and was fined $750. He was also sentenced to serve 15 days in the Grundy County Detention Center, with execution of the sentence suspended. He was placed on probation for two years and is to pay $100 to the Grundy County Law Enforcement Fund and court costs.
Jacob A. Schroeder, Manning, IA, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of operating a vehicle with defective equipment and was fined $152 and $116.50 costs. He also pleaded guilty to an amended charge of failing to register a motor vehicle and was sentenced to serve 12 days in the Grundy County Detention Center, with credit given for time served. He is also to pay $116.50 costs.
Warren J. Roberts, Laredo, pleaded guilty to speeding and was fined $26.50 and $68.50 costs.
Collette S. Pittman, Laredo, waived formal arraignment and pleaded not guilty to first degree endangering the welfare of a child, creating substantial risk, and is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 26.
Monica K. Proctor, Trenton, waived formal arraignment and pleaded not guilty to hindering prosecution of a felony and first degree endangering the welfare of a child. She is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 26.
Isabelle H. Wilson, Gilman City, pleaded guilty to operating a motor vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner, involving an accident, and was fined $75.50 and $68.50 costs.
The following defendants pleaded guilty to their charges and paid their fines through the Fine Collection Center, with their names provided to the Republican-Times:
Pleading guilty to speeding and fined $30.50 were Robert L. Adams, Spickard; Timothy P. Persell, Jr., Spickard; and Jadan D. Whitney, Trenton.
Pleading guilty to speeding and fined $55.50 were Zachary L. Cowan, Cincinnati, IA; and Sandi J. Hoover, Princeton.
Enos E. Schrock, Jamesport, pleaded guilty to pursuing/taking/killing/possessing/disposing of wildlife illegally and was fined $74.50.
Keith B. Wilbee, Princeton, pleaded guilty to failing to display plates on a motor vehicle and was fined $30.50.
