A total of 53 units of blood was collected by the Community Blood Center during a bloodmobile visit to Trenton on Monday.
The number was 17 short of the goal of 70 units. A total of 69 persons registered to give blood, with 16 being deferred. The Trenton High School Chapter of FCCLA sponsored the bloodmobile visit with the Trenton Lions Club providing food and drinks prior to and after donations were given.
