Grundy County Clerk Betty Spickard has announced information in regard to the April 3 municipal and school election has been sent to the entities.
Mrs. Spickard said the filing dates for that election are Dec. 12 through Jan. 16, 2018 and all entities have been notified of those dates. She said those seeking to file for school board elections should do so at the respective district offices or school offices, while those filing for a city government position should do so at the respective city halls. She noted that the Spickard Special Road District’s levy will need to be on the ballot in April for renewal. Any city, school or township that did not receive the information from Mrs. Spickard is asked to contact her at 359-4040, ext. 4.
