The Tri-County R-7 Board of Education approved two cooperative sports agreements with the Gallatin R-5 School during a meeting held Wednesday evening.
According to information provided by Superintendent David Probasco, the board approved agreements for varsity spring baseball in 2019 and junior high football for Fall 2018. Tri-County will be the host school for the baseball program, with Gallatin serving as the host school for the football program.
The filing dates for the April 3, 2018 board election were set as Tuesday, Dec. 12 through Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2018. Candidates may file from 8 a.m to 4 p.m. on days when school is in session. The terms of Heath Cook and Luke Skinner will expire.
In other business, the board discussed MSBA policy updates, the budget and the renewal of the Temporary Tax Levy and potential areas for capital improvement. No action was taken. An executive session was held, with no announcement made.
The next regular meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 11.
