The 2017 Missouri Postsecondary Agriculture Student Organization Conference will be held on the North Central Missouri College Campus in Trenton on Nov. 13-15.
With several sessions being held in the Ketcham Community Center, the track and weights area will be closed from 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 14 and from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
“Harvesting New Opportunities by Promoting Strong Roots” is the theme for this year’s conference, which is being coordinated by the NCMC Agriculture and Natural Resources Department. Conference participants will also have the opportunity to attend workshops provided by Scott Roy of the Missouri Department of Conservation and Samantha Graves and Stanton Warren, Trans Ova Genetics. Smithfield Hog Production of Missouri will sponsor the PAS group in Princeton for an agriculture industry meeting and meal. Approximately 30 regional agricultural and educational leaders have agreed to serve as judges for the career interview section of the conference.
Missouri colleges participating in the year’s conference include Crowder College, Missouri State University-West Plains, NCMC, Northwest Missouri State University, State Fair Community College, State Technical College of Missouri and St. Louis Community College.
