Allyn Scott Graham, an 81-year-old resident of Maryville and former Trenton resident, died on Sunday, Oct. 29, 2017 at the Mosaic Life Care.
Mr. Graham was a coach and teacher at Trenton High School in the late 1960s.
A visitation followed by a memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church in Maryville at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 3, 2017. There will be no graveside service.
Mr. Graham was born on Dec. 1, 1935, to Donald and Annielee Graham of Pattonsburg. He graduated from Pattonsburg High School as an all-state basketball player.
He was married on June 12, 1954 in Cameron to Judith Ann Jarrett, who survives of the home.
He entered the USAF specializing in intelligence and was stationed in Darmstadt, Germany. Upon his overseas return, he earned a bachelor of science degree from Northwest Missouri State University. He taught American history and coached the THS basketball team to state play, a first in school history. He moved his family to Maryville to work as a youth specialist for the University of Missouri Extension Service.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Katrina (Steve) Davisson of Naples, FL; a son, Kenneth (Carol) Graham of Liberty; grandchildren, Jeff (Rosie) Davisson, Lindsey (Joe) Eastep, Erin (Justin) Talley, Elissa (Tyler) Bottles and Josh (Jodie) Graham; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in Maryville.
Services are under the direction of the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home in Maryville.
