Laredo Tournament Results

The Laredo Tournament continued Tuesday night with a second straight night of play. Laredo took on Pleasant View, with the host school taking the girls game 19-18 and Pleasant View winning the boys game 19-12.
In the girls contest, Pleasant View’s Teya Cooksey led all scorers with 11 points while Laredo’s Chandler Lynch finished with eight to pace the Tigers. The boys contest saw Kiefer Tolson lead Pleasant View with 16 points. Hannah Bowe and Rebecca Urich, who played with a short-handed Laredo boys’ squad, led the Tigers with five points each.
Other action on the night saw Chula face off with Bishop Hogan of Chillicothe. Bishop Hogan took both games, winning the girls contest 34-8 and the boys match-up 38-29. Chula got two points each from Madalyn Howe, Mau Stover, Addison Lewis and Kenlynn Fisher in the girls game, while Hogan was paced by 10 points from Essie Hicks. In the boys contest, Chula got 15 points from Kyler Klein and eight from Joshua Meservey. Hogan was led by 14 points from Kyan Douglas and eight from James Matthew.
The tournament wraps up on Thursday night in Laredo.
