Dorothy K. Archuleta, Trenton, waived her preliminary hearing and had her case bound over to the Circuit Division on a charge of possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana/synthetic cannabinoid, a class D felony. She is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 12. She pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana/synthetic cannabinoid of 10 grams or less and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and was sentenced to serve 47 days in the Grundy County Detention Center on each charge, with the sentences to run concurrently. She was given credit for 35 days served. Costs were waived.
Cynthia A. Portillo, Milan, pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle on the highway without a valid license and was fined $37.50 and $68.50 costs. She also pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle for which financial responsibility was not maintained and failing to display plates on a motor vehicle and was fined $27.50 and $68.50 costs on each charge.
Deejon B. Brookman, Princeton, pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle on the highway without a valid license and was fined $37.50 and $68.50 costs. He also pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle owned by another, knowing financial responsibility was not maintained and failing to display plates on a vehicle and was fined $27.50 and $68.50 costs on each charge.
Lila L. Combs, Trenton, waived her preliminary hearing and had her case bound over to the Circuit Division on a charge of possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana/synthetic cannabinoid. Her case was certified to the Circuit Division on charges of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and peace disturbance. She is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 12.
John L. Courtney, Galt, had his case certified to the Circuit Division for a jury trial on a charge of operating a motor vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner, involving an accident.
Scotty Curtis, Altamont, waived his preliminary hearing and had his case bound over to the Circuit Division on three counts of non-support. He is scheduled to appear in court again Nov. 16.
Michael E.L. Grim, Hamilton, pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated and was fined $300 and $116.50 costs and is to pay $240 recoupment of funds.
Franklin A. Holcomb, Gallatin, pleaded guilty to driving while revoked or suspended and was fined $150.50 and $116.50 costs. He also pleaded guilty to failing to display plates on a motor vehicle and was fined $27.50 and $68.50 costs.
Eric W. Lovett, Galt, pleaded guilty to non-support and had imposition of his sentence suspended. He was placed on probation for two years and is to pay $116.50 costs.
Thomas J. Lund, Princeton, waived his preliminary hearing and had his case bound over to the Circuit Division on charges of operating a vehicle on the highway without a valid license (third or subsequent offense). His cases were certified to the Circuit Division on charges of not wearing a seat belt and operating a vehicle for which financial responsibility was not maintained. He is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 12.
Lesa S. Petrov, Brimson, pleaded guilty to operating a motor vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner, involving an accident, and was fined $75.50 and $68.50 costs.
Cody Tucker, Coffey, pleaded guilty to driving while revoked or suspended and was fined $150.50 and $68.50 costs. He also pleaded guilty to failing to register a motor vehicle and was fined $27.50 and $68.50 costs.
Dustin W. Maun, Trenton, pleaded guilty to not wearing a seat belt and was fined $10.
Robert J. Shoemaker, Laredo, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of peace disturbance and was fined $50 and $116.50 costs.
Dusty L. Updegraff, St. Joseph, admitted violating the terms of his probation on an original charge of non-support. His probation was revoked and he was sentenced to serve one year in the Grundy County Detention Center. Execution of the sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for two years.
Brandon Kleihauer, Trenton, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of peace disturbance, a class B misdemeanor, and was sentenced to serve 15 days in the Grundy County Detention Center, with credit given for time served. He is to pay $116.50 costs.
