Beginning Wednesday and continuing through Thursday, Trenton Municipal Utilities will be flushing fire hydrants.
System flushing is required annually. By testing the fire hydrants, this helps to update fire protection records.
Work will begin in the area located north of Crowder Road and west of the railroad tracks between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday. Customers can expect some discolored water and air in their house services and are advised to use caution when doing laundry. Over the next few weeks, it will be necessary to run the tap water until it is clear and not do laundry until the water clears.
Persons can call 359-2838 or 359-2281 for any questions.
