Ruth Hoskins, a 93-year-old Trenton resident, died at 8:45 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 30, 2017 at Sunnyview Nursing Home in Trenton.
Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. today (Monday, Oct. 2, 2017) at the Grundy Center Cemetery. Bro. Richard Key officiated. Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton handled the arrangements.
Mrs. Hoskins was born on Dec. 24, 1923 in Trenton, the daughter of Clyde and Fay McElfresh Craig. She was married in Amarillo, TX on Feb. 17, 1943 to Billy Hoskins, who preceded her in death on Feb. 20, 1985. She was a lifelong resident of Trenton. She worked at the Hy Power and the Gables. She was a member of the Grundy Center United Methodist Church and American Legion Post 31 Ladies Auxiliary.
There are no immediate survivors.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Sherry Lynn Hoskins; and a sister, Maxine Craig.
