Some Events Held For 160th Anniversary of Trenton

Rain cut short the Trenton 160th anniversary celebration on Saturday, but not before several events were held. Members of the Joseph L. Norton VFW Post No. 919, in top photo, conducted a flag ceremony that included an explanation on the folding of the flag while the talent show featured performances by Trisha, Owen and Carly Sharp, in middle photo, and Anita Ewing, in bottom photo. Claire Draper also performed “The National Anthem” and cake was served to the crowd that had gathered prior to the rain. There are no plans to reschedule the event, which was held downtown.
