Kris D. Critten, a 48-year-old resident of Gallatin, died on Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017 at Cameron Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2017 at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Gallatin. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery near Gallatin.
General visitation will begin after 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2017 at the funeral home, where a family visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
Mr. Critten was born on Oct. 9, 1968 in Bethany, the son of Kenneth and Lola Yuille Critten. He was a 1988 graduate of Gallatin High School and attended Trenton Junior College for a year. He began his working career at Landmark Manufacturing, the family business, where he worked at various jobs within the company.
He was a member of the Freedom Riders. He enjoyed listening to music with heavy metal being his favorite. He also enjoyed watching movies and was an avid fan of WWE wrestling.
He is survived by his parents, Kenneth and Lola Critten, and two brothers, Kevin (Pam) Critten and Kent (Kim) Critten, all of Gallatin; nieces and nephews, Kelly (Nate) Gray, Kristin, Kase and Klark Critten, Taylor and Trace Rardon, Ethan (Blair) Merrigan and Logan (Katie Whitt) Merrigan; a great-niece and great-nephew, Kohl and Olivia Gray; and a host of friends.
