Spooked Cat Blamed In Mishap

A cat riding in a van is listed as a cause of a mishap investigated recently by the Trenton Police Department.
According to Officer Luke Dapra’s report, the mishap occurred when Nancy Hurst of Trenton was traveling southbound on Main Street, holding her cat. The cat got spooked and scratched at Ms. Hurst, who swerved the vehicle, striking a utility pole. Ms. Hurst complained of pain in her right leg, but she refused medical attention at the scene.
