The Helping Hands 4-H club met on Sept. 6 at the First Christian Church.
Hannah Persell presided over the meeting with 12 members and 11 guests present. Kruz Ulberg and Henry Lasley led the pledges to the U.S. and 4-H flags. Roll call was answered with members telling what project they would take this year.
The club discussed nominations for officers and community service projects for the upcoming year. Recognition books and end of year materials were to be turned in at the Extension Office. The treasurer’s book was audited. Members sang “Happy Birthday” to those with September birthdays, enjoyed snacks and played a game of “Head, Knees, CUP!”
The next meeting will be on Oct. 4 at 5:30 p.m. at the FCC. The Ulberg family will provide the refreshments.
