Library Receives Grants

The Grundy County-Jewett Norris Library is the recipient of two grants. The first, pictured at top, is a Technology Mini Grant for a lab housing 14 computers at a cost of $8,506. The Friends of the Library is contributing the 25 percent match. Scott Neptune is programming the computers. At bottom, Charity Halstead and Doris Baker display the large print books, travel guides, homeschool materials and items for the children’s collection at the library. The items were purchased from a $4,271 Public Library Collection Grant.
