Hearings Planned On Requests For Green Hills Women’s Shelter

The Planning and Zoning Commission will hold public hearings on two requests to allow for sale of property to build the proposed Green Hills Women’s Shelter.
The hearings will be held at 7 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 2 at city hall. Evelyn Trickel is making a request to rezone property at 317 Johnson Drive from I-2 heavy industry to MU mixed use to allow for construction of the women’s shelter at that site. The second request is for a minor subdivision of 3.78 acres at that same address to allow sale of the property for location of the shelter.
