The Princeton City Council held a brief meeting Thursday night.
According to City Clerk Danette Snapp, the council met with residents along Dekalb Street about concerns with the gravel road. The residents requested the city to either chip abnd seal, oil or lay hot mix on the street to cut down on dust on the highly-traveled road. The city street superintendent indicated his crew would work to resolve the issue.
The council also heard complaints about two nuisance issues. The first involved trash and animals, with the street supervisor meeting with the property owners on Friday to address what needs to be done. The second issue involved tree trimming and the superintendent will be meeting with that property owner in the near future.
The next meeting of the council will be on Thursday, Oct. 5 at 5:30 p.m.
