Funeral services for Donna Lou McCracken are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 9, 2017 at the First Christian Church in Trenton. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens of Trenton.
Open visitation is under way at the Resthaven Mortuary, north of Trenton.
Mrs. McCracken, an 80- year-old Trenton resident, died at 10 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017 at the Ozark Riverview Manor in Ozark.
Mrs. McCracken was born on March 14, 1937 in Trenton, the daughter of Clarence Glen “Red” and Vera J. Newton Faller. She lived her entire life in the Trenton area and graduated from Trenton High School. She worked as a florist for Eleanore’s Flowers for a number of years and as a teacher’s aide at S.M. Rissler Elementary School for 15 years.
She was married on Dec. 31, 1955 in Trenton to Jerry F. McCracken, who preceded her in death on July 25, 2003. They were members of the First Christian Church in Trenton. She was also a member of the Pi Master Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi sorority and the Red Hatters.
Surviving relatives include her daughter, Jerry Rowland and her husband, Andy of Springfield; and four grandchildren, Ashley and Allyson Rowland of Milton-Freewater, OR and Alyssa and Glen Rowland of Springfield.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Greene County CERT-CART and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
