Grundy R-5 Elementary Students Of The Month

The Grundy R-5 Elementary School Students of the Month for August are Jimmy Berry, left, and Carly Smith, right. Jimmy is a fifth grader and enjoys spending time with his friend, who just happens to be his mom. He enjoys playing soccer and likes to eat “Ben’s” food. His most prized possession is his guinea pig. Carly is a sixth grader and enjoys playing basketball and milkshakes. She wants to go to Alaska and one of her best memories is going whitewater rafting with her family, who she says is her most prized possession. In recognition of their honor, the two will receive lunch at the Galt Cafe from Principal Dr. Ann Billington.
