The Trenton DAWGS attended the Special Olympics West Regional Softball Tournament in Lee’s Summit on Saturday, Aug. 26. Over 30 teams were in attendance and the DAWGS were successful with a win in their first game. However, the second game ended in a loss by just one run. The DAWGS received silver medals, which allow them to advance to the State Games in Jefferson City in October. The games were played at the Frank White Sports Complex and Frank White was in attendance to cheer on the teams.
