Gay Lee Brummitt, 54, of Pittsburg, KS, died on Sunday, July 23, 2017 at the University of Kansas Medical Center.
A celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 12, 2017 at the First Church of the Nazarene in Pittsburg with Rev. Jim Sukraw officiating.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 13, 2017 at the Coy-Brummitt family cemetery, southwest of Trenton on the Grundy-Livingston county line.
Ms. Brummitt was born on May 31, 1963 at Ft. Madison, IA, the daughter of J.T. and JoAnne Street Brummitt. She attended LaPlata High School.
Survivors include a daughter, Robin Glee Browning and her husband, Seth of Pittsburg; two sons, Vance Frick and his wife, Sami of Kearney and Garrett Stalder and his wife, Andie of Pittsburg; two grandchildren, Abigail Glee of Pittsburg and Adalyn Honor of Kearney; three sisters, Merrilee Brummitt Wells of Parsons, KS, Joy Brummitt of Farber and Glee Brummitt Hanson of Laddonia; several area relatives, including Evelyn Trickel of Trenton, Linda Brummitt of Trenton and her family, Randy Street and his wife, Linda of Trenton and their family, Cindy Brummitt Roach and her husband Johnny of Trenton and their family and Carolyn Clark Huston and her husband, Jerry of Jamesport; and out-of-area relatives, Wenda Street Hutchison and her husband, Raymond, Richard Brummitt and his wife, Sharon, Margaret Brummitt Chapman and her husband, Johne and Christy Brummitt Gildersleeve and her husband, Mark.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Abigail Jo Anne Rhoades.
