BEEF
There were 104 head of cattle entered in Saturday’s beef show, including 13 in the pee wee show.
Jenna Reeter of Trenton showed the supreme champion female, an Angus, and was also selected for the intermediate showmanship honors. The reserve champion female belonged to Lea Simmons of Unionville, who showed a Charolais.
The supreme champion bull, an Angus, was shown by Kolby Singer of Hale. The reserve champion bull was a Mainetainer, shown by Haley Fitzpatrick of Meadville.
Max Alexander of Brookfield had the champion market steer and the supreme market animal. Sadie Roy of Trenton had the reserve champion market steer. The champion home-raised steer belonged to James Ballard of Bethany, who also had the reserve champion market animal.
Other showmanship honors went to Allena Allen of Trenton, senior; and Carman Woodworth of Chillicothe, junior.

PREMIUM SALE
A total of $48,475 was raised during this year’s premium livestock sale, held following the beef show on Saturday night.
There were 13 buyers for the animals offered for sale by 20 local youth. In addition to the 13 buyers, there were 40 other sponsors for this year’s event.
HORSE SHOW
The horse show moved along quickly Saturday morning as organizers raced to beat forecasted rain.
The high-point winners in the show were Sammie Jo Blanchard, age 8 and under; Paiton Brewer and Hadley Jumps, tie for 9 to 12 years; and Katie Blanchard, 13 years and over.

There were 39 head of sheep entered in Friday’s show, with four pee wee exhibitors.
Layton Stonger of Galt exhibited the supreme champion market lamb, a cross-bred, with the reserve champion, also a crossbred, exhibited by Joslyn Seals of Browning. The supreme champion ewe was exhibited by Harlee Beck of Chillicothe, also a crossbred, with Savannah Seals’ Hampshire being named the reserve champion ewe. A crossbred exhibited by Dillon Jones of Princeton was named the supreme champion ram, while Kale Batson of Trenton exhibited the reserve champion, also a Crossbred.
Showmanship winners were Harlee Beck, junior division; Gage Seals of Browning, intermediate division; and Savannah Seals, senior division.

Friday’s goat show drew 29 exhibitors, including two peewee exhibitors. The supreme champion doe and reserve champion does were exhibited by Montana Plattner of Chillicothe. The champion buck ( 6 to 12 months) was exhibited by Keith Herring of Linneus, who had the only buck entered in the show. The supreme champion market goat was exhibited by Gabrielle Wigchert of Chil-licothe, with Jake Henry of Braymer exhibiting the reserve champion.
Showmanship honors went to Emma Whitlock of Milan in the junior division, while Wyatt Ellis of Bethany took top honors in the senior division.

There were 6 exhibitors with 17 entries, as well as 4 peewee exhibitors, in the Poultry/Fowl Show, held Thursday at the fair.
A standard pullet exhibited by Rachel Murphy of Jamesport was named the grand champion of show, with Kayden Brooke’s duck being named the reserve champion. Other winners in the show included, Rachel Murphy, champion large fowl, with Azriel Murphy of Jamesport exhibiting the reserve champion; Kayden Brooke of Bethany, champion bantam, and Eric Hines, reserve champion; Kayden Brooke, champion duck, and Micah Murphy of Jamesport, reserve champion. Azriel Murphy won the senior showmanship division, with Rachel Murphy taking top honors in the junior showmanship division.
No ribbon winners were listed for the poultry/fowl show.
RABBITS
The rabbit show drew 14 exhibitors with 71 entries, making for a long show at the livestock pavilion. There was also 1 peewee exhibitor.
Trenton resident Anna Hines’ Californian was named the Grand Champion of Show, while Jasper Jones’ Dutch was named the reserve champion. Jones, of Chillicothe, also had the best four class rabbit, a Dutch, with Brylee Bowles of Bethany exhibiting the reserve, a Mini Rex. Anna Hines had the best six class rabbit, a Californian, with Robyn Snuffer of Jamesport exhibiting the reserve, a New Zealand.
Showmanship honors went to Brylee Bowles in the senior division and Jasper Jones in the junior division.
Best of Breed honors went to Anna Hines (Californian) and Robyn Snuffer (New Zealand), with Anna Hines also earning honors in Best Opposite Sex of Breed.
