Kaitlyn Marsh, seated between her parents, Melissa and Jason Marsh, has signed a national letter of intent to play softball for head coach Steve Richman, standing, and the North Central Missouri College Pirates. Marsh was a first-team selection to the All-Missouri River Valley West Conference, All-District 14 and All-Region 4 teams as a senior at Oak Grove. She also earned second-team all-state recognition. As a hitter, she drove in 24 RBIs, scored 18 runs, hit a pair of home runs and carried a .414 average this past season. As a pitcher she netted 155.1 innings, striking out 153 batters. She ran a record of 20-6 with a 1.17 ERA. “We are very excited to get Kaitlyn signed,” Richman said. “She is an extremely good player who can help in many ways. She is also a great character kid and we are so happy for her to wear the Pirate Red and Black.”
