Trickel, who is a member of Boy Scout Troop 99, began his scouting career as a member of Cub Scout Pack 23 and has earned his Arrow of Light Award as well as participating in the God and Country program. He has held several leadership positions, including junior assistant scoutmaster, senior patrol leader and patrol leader. He has earned a total of 28 merit badges and is a warrior in the Tribe of Mic-O-Say with the name “Thundering Rock.”
Trickel’s Eagle project was building an honor display at the Wesley United Methodist Church.
He is a graduate of Trenton High School, where he was an honor student and a member of the Scholar Bowl Team, FFA and the National Honor Society. He is currently enrolled and plans to attend North Central Missouri College this fall to earn a degree in general education, followed by transfer to a university to earn a four-year degree.
As a member of the Rural Dale Baptist Church and its youth program, he has participated in a mission trip to help with the city of Joplin after the 2011 tornado. He has also been employed by Subway for the past two years.
Trickel is the son of Craig and Laurie Frisbie of Trenton and the late Gary Trickel.
