Five students from the Grand River Vo-Tech School at Chillicothe, including three from Trenton, competed in the Skills USA 53rd annual National Leadership and Skills Conference on June 19-24 in Louisville, KY. Jakolbie Stotts, Taylor Sparks and Metaija Johnson, juniors at Trenton High School and first-year students in the health science tech program, competed in the chapter display event. Jacob Caughron of Hale, earned top honors in the college-level job interview event while Gabe Reichert of Brunswick, who is also taking classes at North Central Missouri College, finished 16th in the nation in welding.
