Two vehicles sustained damage, but no one was injured in an accident investigated Saturday on Ninth Street, near the intersection with Bulldog Avenue.
According to an accident report filed by Trenton Police Officer Jasmine Diab, the mishap occurred when a car driven by Eryn C. Howe of Trenton was westbound on Ninth Street. Howe said he turned to the back seat to attend to his infant son, who was in a rear-facing child safety seat. At that point, his vehicle struck from behind a van driven by Brenda C. Allnutt of Galt, which was also westbound.
Howe was ticketed for following another vehicle too closely.
