North Central Missouri College landed 11 athletes on the NJCAA Academic All-American teams, which were released on Wednesday. NCMC had five softball selections, three men’s basketball selections, three women’s basketball selections and one baseball selection.
Jaclyn Weydert of the Lady Pirate softball team was the lone first-team selection, an honor awarded to athletes who carry a 4.0 grade-point average for the year.
Second team selections (3.8-3.99 GPA) were Breann O’Riley and Rachael Balke of the softball team and Harris Cameron and Ryan Ward of the men’s basketball team.
Third team selections (3.6-3.79 GPA) included Enrique Madera of the baseball team, Brandon Burden of the men’s basketball team, Aubrey Nelson of the softball team, Adriana Seger and Kendey Eaton of the women’s basketball team and Kelly Warford of both the women’s basketball and softball teams.
