Trenton City Council Meets On Monday

The Trenton City Council will hold its regular meeting at 7 p.m. on Monday at city hall.
Items on the announced agenda including an ordinance authorizing an agreement between the city and Burns and McDonnell for engineering services for water line work on 17th Street, water line work on Harris Avenue between 18th and 26th streets and maintenance of the Iowa Boulevard water tower; an ordinance amending the schedule of fees for building permits, inspections and plan reviews; an ordinance amending the general requirements for minimum standards of maintenance of non-owner occupied dwellings; a storm siren report; approval of bids for an electric department pickup truck; discussion of fundraisers at traffic lights; presentation of a “Tidy Up” award; and appointments to the park board, building and nuisance board, planning and zoning commission, the board of adjustments, the tree board, the airport advisory board, the TIF Commission and the historic preservation commission. An executive session for legal matters is also planned.
