The Tri-County R-7 Board of Education will meet in regular session at 6 p.m. on Thursday in the superintendent’s office of the school at Jamesport.
Items on the announced agenda include setting the date for the end of year board meeting, setting the date for the next regular board meeting, the superintendent’s report, MSBA updates, summer projects, purchase service contracts, bids for milk, bread, diesel fuel and gas, the student and employee handbooks for 2017-18, a budget review and health insurance. An executive session for personnel is also scheduled.
During a special meeting on May 31, the board offered a contract to Janette Karn, who will be teaching high school science. Approval was given to a bid from Lonnie Schrock for concrete work and a bid from Ferman Hostetler to remodel the agriculture, FACS and art classrooms. Campione Interior Solutions was approved to update the flooring in the Kimberling gymnasium addition.
