Crowder State Park, along with other state parks in Missouri, will be involved in National Trails Day activities on Saturday.
At Crowder, two nature hikes are planned during the day. At 10 a.m., persons can meet at the trailhead of the River Forks Trail for a two-mile hike while a 3.4 mile-hike is planned at 1 p.m. on the Tall Oaks trail. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a bottle of water.
That evening, a program on “Mammals of Missouri,” will be held at the amphitheater of the campground. Information will be presented about mammals that are found at Crowder Park. The program will be from 9 to 10 p.m.
