Judge Steven D. Hudson
James L. Baker, Trenton, pleaded guilty to driving while revoked or suspended and was fined $150.50 and $116.50 costs.
Sheila R. Coon-Phillips, Trenton, pleaded guilty to two counts of peace disturbance and was sentenced to serve eight days in the Grundy County Detention Center on each count, with the sentences to run concurrently. She was given credit for time served and is to pay $116.50 costs.
Ronald G. Dryer, Hale, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of tampering, a class A misdemeanor. He was ordered to serve six days in the Grundy County Detention Center, with credit given for time served.
Joshua D. Hill, Trenton, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of peace disturbance and was fined $100.50 and $116.50 costs.
Thomas C. Kopp, Lexington, had the amount owed on a conviction for non-support converted to 14 days in the Grundy County Detention Center, with credit given for time served.
Joshua R. Maberry, Prince-ton, had the amount owed on a conviction for operating a vehicle on the highway without a valid license converted to 13 days in the Grundy County Detention Center, the amount owed on a conviction for displaying/possessing motor vehicle or trailer plates of another person converted to 17 days in the GCDC and the amount owed on a charge of speeding converted to 15 days in the GCDC. The jail time is to run consecutively.
Benjamin Milazzo, Liberty, waived formal arraignment and pleaded not guilty to non-support. He waived his preliminary hearing and had his case bound over to the Circuit Division, with arraignment set for June 15.
Christian F.J. Morgans, Princeton, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of operating a vehicle with defective equipment and was fined $200 and $68.50 costs.
Mann J. Pittman, Laredo, pleaded guilty to being a person under the age of 18 purchasing or attempting to purchase cigarettes, tobacco, alternative nicotine or vapor products and was fined $75.50 and $68.50 costs. He also pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and was fined $300 and $116.50 costs.
John J. Sampson, Trenton, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of careless and imprudent driving and was fined $300, $116.50 costs and $98 recoupment of funds. He also pleaded guilty to an amended charge of operating a vehicle with defective brakes and was fined $200 and $68.50 costs.
Patrick L. Stephens, Galt, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of operating a vehicle with defective equipment and was fined $200 and $68.50 costs.
Jeffrey Chad Corbin, Trenton, admitted violating the terms of his probation on original charges of unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana. His probation was revoked and he was ordered to serve the remaining 14 days of his original 60-day sentence.
William N. Griffin, Trenton, had his motion for a change of judge sustained, with the presiding judge to appoint a new one to hear the case. Griffin is charged with first degree child molestation, a class B felony.
Ashley Snidow, St. Joseph, pleaded guilty to passing bad checks and was fined $350 and $116.50 costs.
Damon Buss, Trenton, waived his preliminary hearing and had his case bound over to the Circuit Division on a charge of non-support. He is scheduled to appear in court again June 15.
Jesse J. Southwick, Laredo, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of assault, a class A misdemeanor. Sentencing was set for June 13.
The following defendants pleaded guilty to their charges and paid their fines through the Fine Collection Center, with their names provided to the Republican-Times:
Lauren A. Weyer, Trenton, pleaded guilty to pursuing/taking/killing/possessing or disposing of wildlife illegally and was fined $149.50.
Brenda K. Smith, Trenton, pleaded guilty to speeding and was fined $30.50.
Amanda K. Mitchell, Prince-ton, pleaded guilty to failing to transfer plates of a vehicle within 30 days and was fined $30.50.
Wyatt L. Adams, Trenton, pleaded guilty to speeding and was fined $80.50. He also pleaded guilty to not wearing a seat belt and was fined $10.
