The Grundy County Museum is looking for the owner of this Gold Star Mother’s flag, which was recently found in items brought to the Church Women United Thrift Shop for donation. The flag, which represents a mother who lost a son in the military during World War II, was found folded in an envelope by thrift shop workers who, in turn, have donated it to the museum for display. Museum officials would like to identify the original owner as part of the display. Anyone who knows information about this particular flag is asked to contact Bob Chenoweth at 654-1586.
