The Trenton Bulldogs boys tennis team blasted Cameron Tuesday afternoon at home on the THS tennis courts. Trenton took every single match contested, sending the Dragons packing with a 9-0 loss.
The dual started with doubles matches and Trenton set the tone in those matches, going a perfect three-for-three. Nick Shields and Jacob Davis won 8-4 and that would be the closest match of the dual. Kade Ockenfels and Creed Houghton followed with an 8-2 win and Wyatt Neal and Gabe Swann picked up an 8-1 victory.
In singles action Trenton continued to rain winners. Shields scored an 8-0 win at number one, Davis won 8-1 at number two and Ockenfels scored an 8-2 victory at number three. Neal and Houghton each followed with 8-0 wins and Swann wrapped up the sweep with an 8-1 win at number six.
Trenton moved to 7-2 overall on the season with the dual win.
In junior varsity action, Trenton went 3-0. Weston Otto and Jeremy Elliott won 6-1, Elijah Oyler and Colten Hamilton won 6-2 and Reece Miller and Riley Raymo won 6-4.

Trenton is scheduled to be at home again today, weather permitting, playing host to Wentworth Military Academy at 4 o’clock.
