Fourth grade students at the S.M. Rissler Elementary School who, as third graders, scored proficient or above in reading and math on the MAP test were recognized during an assembly on Friday at the school. Teachers and staff also presented a “dance” to encourage this year’s third graders to do well on the tests, which begin this week.
