Jamesport resident Geoff Eads was the local winner of the Bracket Bucks basketball contest, sponsored by the Trenton Republican-Times and local businesses.
Eads scored 1,356 points to best all entries from Trenton. He wins a $30 cash prize for his efforts. Sponsors of the local contest were Hy-Vee Food Store, Grundy County Lumber, Chumbley’s T&L Auto, Royal Inn Pizza, Farmers Bank of Northern Missouri, Barnes-Baker, People’s Co-op, Washington Street Food and Drink and ServeLink.
