Elizabeth Ann Moss, a 71-year-old Chillicothe resident, passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at her residence.
A private family service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 4, 2017. Burial will be held at Shelburne Cemetery near Trenton.
A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home in Chillicothe from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, April 3, 2017. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home from noon until 8 p.m. on Monday.
Mrs. Moss was born on Nov. 7, 1945 in Trenton, the daughter of James Myron and Mary Elizabeth Harris Crow. She was a 1963 graduate of Trenton High School. She then attended Saint Luke’s School of Nursing, graduating in 1966 with her bachelor’s degree in nursing. She worked as the administrator of the Livingston County Health Department for many years. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Chillicothe. She enjoyed spending time with family, cooking, crafting, reading her Bible and watching Missouri sports.
Survivors include one daughter, Rachel Moss of Chillicothe; one son, Daniel Moss and his wife, Wendy of Chillicothe; four grandchildren, Emma Boyd, Ethan Melte, Reagan Moss and Charlotte Moss; one brother, Jim Crow and his wife, Judy of Farmersville; one sister, Sarah Siebenborn and her husband, Bill of Galt; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two nephews, Jamie and Jeff Crow; and several aunts and uncles.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shelburne Baptist Church and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
