Bench Dedicated At R-6 School

Pleasant View R-6 School had an large turnout for the Basketball Extravaganza on Saturday night at the school. The evening began with a dedication to the late Annette Sager, who was a kindergarten teacher in the R-6 School District. A bench was presented in her memory by the Pleasant View School Board for her 15 years of service to the district. A moment of silence was observed and her family in attendance was recognized. There were also basketball games played, featuring students, staff and alumni, along with an auction. All monies raised will go to the erect a new sign in front of the school building.
