THS Student Council Wins Award

The Trenton High School Student Council received the Gold Honor Council Award during the Missouri Association of Student Councils meeting held last weekend in St. Louis. The honor is based on an application submitted by the student council, which met the criteria established by the Honor Council Committee and the MASC Advisory Board. The criteria includes a comprehensive program promoting student activities and leadership, with programs such as school service, spirit, community service, student and teacher recognition and leadership training activities. Brenda Thorne is the THS Student Council advisor.
