Trenton High School Entrepreneurship students would like for persons to join them in painting Trenton orange for MS Awareness.
Multiple Sclerosis is a disease in which the immune system eats away at the protective covering of nerves, also known as MS. A staff member at THS has MS as well as others in our community.
In an effort to raise money for MS, THS Entrepreneurship is selling orange t-shirts and sponsoring an MS Week March 27-31. The shirts are $10 and order forms can be picked up in the school offices of Rissler Elementary School, Trenton Middle School and THS. Order forms need to be returned to school offices by Thursday, March 16. All profits will be given to the MS Society for research and education. There is currently no cure for MS.
Bulldogs for a Cause Corporation was created to raise funds and to inform students and community members about MS. The 14 students in Entrepreneurship play a vital role in the success of this project. Students have been given specific duties or placed on teams such as project manager, research, advertising and publicity, sales and finance.
Tanner Franklin was voted by his peers to serve as the project manager. Other entrepreneurship students involved include Echo VonBurg, Katherine Warner, Tristen Pruitt, Kayley Griffin, Jasper Hanson, Maci Henson, Rachel Sibbit, Trevor Waggoner, Wyatt Sharp, Jeremy Elliott, Kyle Preston, Caiti Ramsey and Isaiah Renshaw.
Students have set a goal of selling 300 shirts and increasing awareness of MS at the high school by 25 percent. Bulldogs for a Cause would like for students, staff and community members to join them in painting Trenton orange on Friday, March 31.
